I recently found this cookie at my local healthy grocery store chain. I'm sensitive to many ingredients on top of severe allergies to most common foods plus I need to eat gluten-free. I had given up on anything resembling a desert, then I discovered these cookies. They don't have xanthan gum, one of the ingredients that makes me sick and is common to all gluten-free foods. So I decided to try them, and they are great! The cashier at the grocery store asked me about the flavor and I told her they were the best I had ever had,. She needs to eat gluten-free so she tried them and told me she ate the whole box in one sitting! It's easy to do! She said they were the best gluten-free cookie she had ever eaten! I only gave 4 stars for value because my local store occasionally puts these on sale for $4/box, and Amazon's price has been as high as $6/box. But when suppliers lower the price on Amazon I will purchase them online. I also took off a star because when I buy these online a portion of cookies in each box are usually broken, and you can't put broken cookies out for company.First of all, I want to say that I love, love, LOVE these gluten free Kinnitoos Chocolate Sandwich Creme Cookies! They taste so good that I and everyone who has tried them (whether they need to be gluten free or not) think they are delicious. And I love being able to bring them to a party and eat dessert along with everyone else. However, my issue is with the packaging. I used to buy these cookies in a thick yellow plastic bag wrapper at Wholefoods. But when Amazon bought Wholefoods they stopped carrying them along with a number of other gluten free products. Grrr. Anyway, I was excited to find these cookies on Amazon and love the subscribe and save feature, except the cookies I got were in a cardboard box (with a *thin* plastic sleeve wrapper inside) and while the flavor is still quite good, the cookies themselves are on the stale side and they crumble like crazy! The ones I used to buy in store in the thick plastic sleeve were not stale and did not crumble. Sadly, I need to keep looking until I can find a place that sells these cookies in the better packaging.I got 3 in the package, they are delicious my kids love them who have a lists of food allergies this product is free from ingredients like nuts,milk,wheat, eggs etc. I gave it a 3stars because of the price, shipped out on time I have been ordering this product for years comes in different flavors I found out this flavor only gives you 3 in the package, the vanilla and the chocolate comes with 6 in the package.Our family is back on a gluten-free, vegan diet, and I try to find treats for my kids to allow them to feel a little more "normal" now and then. These look and taste just like regular Oreos - even to the point that my kiddos' friends don't even notice the difference when they come over and I offer some to them as a treat. These are not cheap and obviously should be eaten sparingly like all sweets, but they are a big hit for our kids when they want something fun and tasty to indulge in on occasion when their sweet tooth kicks in. My biggest hurdle is hiding them/rationing them out so they don't gobble them all up at once, because yes, they are that yummy.The flavor is amazing the texture just isn’t the best they fall apart easily but this is the only vanilla Oreo option that’s gluten free dairy free and the taste is immaculate so nothing else really matters!We really love this cookie, it has a great flavor. The only thing I wish was better is the texture. It is a bit sandy and dry but in a market where GF is not always easy to come by all in all it's pretty goodif you buy a lot of gluten free products, you know the taste or After Taste, can totally bum you out, Not so with these! best part is they cover all our allergies, dairy free, nut free, gluten free & taste great. So much so that I use them for our kids group snacks since so many in our sports & church events have allergies these days, & even our dads & no allergy kids like them, My son loves that he has his own kind of oreos, since he can't safely eat the other ones, Just like any other cookie theres no real nutritional content, so you will find that you will have to limit yourself on eating them, get excited to have something safe & then keep eating them, LOL Enjoy OOOO & Check out Kinnittoos Animal Crackers They are super too!!These cookies are a life saver. Both my kids have autism. One has celiac disease and the other doesn’t. Both like Oreos.My son is often excluded from things because of his dietary restrictions but not when it comes to the favorite cookies of our family.My daughter has her Oreos and my son has his! You can’t even visually tell them apart and that makes my son feel like he is no different from anyone else. Plus he loves them. He would eat the whole package if I left it in reach. They dry out more than real Oreos but so do a lot of gluten free foods so I don’t mind. He still thinks they taste good.
